ABOUT THIS WINE

The Blanc de Noirs cuvée from Maison Collet showcases the Pinot Noir and Meunier from the Montagne de Reims in all their intensity. Powerful and mineral, yet balanced and fruity, it captivates with its freshness and structure, making it ideal for cocktail-style aperitifs or surf-and-turf pairings.

The 2018 growing season was remarkable: a rainy winter followed by a very warm, sunny spring. These conditions encouraged rapid and abundant flowering in early June. The summer was exceptionally dry and hot, yet without water stress for the vines, resulting in record yields. Grape ripening was uniform, with excellent sanitary quality. Harvest began as early as late August, delivering grapes in both outstanding quantity and remarkable quality.

Traditional Champagne vinification methods are used. A small portion (around 3%) of the base wine is fermented in oak barrels to add textural complexity and subtle structure. The wine is aged sur lattes (on the lees) in ancient limestone cellars for a minimum of 3 years to develop deep, mature autolytic flavors. Finished as a Brut, with a dosage of about 8 g/L.
