ABOUT THE WINE
Exclusiv’T is Champagne Eric Taillet’s non-vintage Blanc de Meunier, made entirely from Meunier. It is one of the house’s traditional cuvées and offers a direct introduction to the grape that plays the leading role across much of its range.
Reserve wines and lees maturation are important elements of the house’s non-vintage production, building continuity and depth across harvests. Taillet’s cellar work favors gentle handling and restraint so that vineyard character remains central. This product is the 1.5L magnum of Exclusiv’T.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
The Taillet family’s Champagne history began around 1900, with its first bottles made in the 1950s. Eric represents the fourth generation, with Dylan and Léna continuing the family’s work in the Marne Valley and its Meunier vineyards.
The estate emphasizes the life of its soils, using cover crops, organic matter and agroforestry rather than herbicides. Clay, limestone, marl and flint contribute to the differences between its sites. The same attention continues in the cellar, where a choice of steel and wooden vessels and limited intervention supports wines intended to show the grape and the place.
