ABOUT THIS WINE
100% Melon de Bourgogne from young vines in the Hague Fouassière. Made in the traditional method with 18 to 24 months on the lees before disgorgement.
The oceanic climate and alliance of rocks in the vineyards make it an ideal terroir for the
production of fresh, well-balanced, aromatic, and long-keeping Muscadets.
ABOUT THIS PRODUCER
Domaines Vinet is a family wine estate started in 1948 and located in the Loire Valley, near the The Atlantic Ocean, in the Nantes vineyard.
In 1980 Gérard took over from his father and today Laurence and Gérard continue the family tradition and cultivate 55 hectares of vines in sustainable agriculture (HVE and TERRA VITIS) in the communes of La Haye-Fouassière and Château Thébaud in the historical heart of the AOC Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation.
Their working philosophy is based first of all on the quality of their soils. Vinet adapts work to the plot of land according to the differences in the soil. Thus, each of the domaine's wines develops its own identity and its character. All wines are harvested, vinified, bottled, and marketed independently in modern wineries and in the respect of traditions and the environment.
