ABOUT THE WINE

The Blanc de Blancs Brut is 100% Chardonnay, sourced from vines approximately 25 years old growing on clay-limestone soils. Laurent Perrachon began producing this Crémant in 2012, selecting a portion of the domaine’s Chardonnay specifically for sparkling wine. Made by the traditional method, the wine undergoes its secondary fermentation in bottle, followed by aging on the lees to build texture and aromatic complexity while retaining Chardonnay’s natural freshness.

Pale gold with persistent, fine bubbles, it opens with white blossoms, lemon and fresh orchard fruit, complemented by almond and subtle brioche notes. The palate is lively and precise, balancing creamy texture with bright citrus-driven acidity and a distinctly mineral edge before finishing dry and elegant.

Its combination of freshness, fine mousse, and savory complexity makes this an excellent aperitif and a versatile table wine. Pair it with oysters and shellfish, grilled fish, sushi, vegetable tempura, fried seafood, fresh goat cheese, or other crisp, lightly savory dishes.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Domaine Laurent Perrachon & Fils is a historic family estate based in Juliénas. The domaine traces its roots there to 1877, when the family acquired Château de la Bottière, although records place the Perrachon family among the region’s winegrowers as far back as the early 17th century. Today the family farms vineyards across six Beaujolais crus—Juliénas, Moulin-à-Vent, Morgon, Chénas, Fleurie, and Saint-Amour—as well as holdings in the Mâconnais.

The estate combines longstanding Beaujolais traditions with an increasingly precise, site-focused approach to winemaking. Manual harvesting remains an important part of its viticulture, while individual vineyard selections allow the family to emphasize the identity of specific terroirs. This Blanc de Blancs extends that philosophy to sparkling wine: Chardonnay, traditional bottle fermentation, and careful élevage come together in a Crémant defined by freshness, finesse, and a clear sense of place.
