NV Ruinart Brut Blanc de Blancs, Champagne, France 1.5L MAG
Elegant, luminous, and supremely expressive, the Ruinart Blanc de Blancs in magnum format offers an elevated experience of this iconic cuvée. Made exclusively from Chardonnay, it opens with vibrant notes of ripe citrus, white peach, fresh pineapple, and delicate floral tones of jasmine and acacia. On the palate, it’s both supple and airy—silky in texture with a bright spine of acidity and a long, chalky finish that captures the finesse of Côte des Blancs fruit and the purity of the house style.

ABOUT THIS WINE
Crafted entirely from Chardonnay—primarily from Premier Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims—this non-vintage Blanc de Blancs showcases the signature freshness and luminous character of Ruinart’s Chardonnay-driven identity. The base wine is blended with up to 30% reserve wines and undergoes stainless steel vinification to preserve varietal purity. Aging on lees for around 36 months in the chalk cellars beneath Reims builds creamy texture and nuanced complexity, while a moderate dosage (~7–9 g/L) maintains balance. In magnum, the wine evolves more slowly, offering enhanced tension and depth over time. Ideal with crudo, sashimi, citrus-dressed salads, or soft-ripened cheeses like Chaource.
ABOUT THIS PRODUCER
Founded in 1729, Ruinart holds the distinction of being the oldest established Champagne house. Deeply rooted in the traditions of Reims, it was founded by Nicolas Ruinart, inspired by the forward-thinking vision of his uncle Dom Thierry Ruinart, a learned Benedictine monk. Today, Ruinart is revered for its Chardonnay-focused style: wines of elegance, precision, and luminosity. The house practices sustainable viticulture and vinification, and its iconic chalk cellars—UNESCO-listed and dating back to Roman times—offer ideal aging conditions. With an unwavering commitment to purity and finesse, Ruinart continues to express the refined soul of Champagne.
