Join us for an intimate Producer Series tasting featuring Benjamin Leroux, one of the most respected and dynamic winemakers in modern Burgundy. Known for his remarkable ability to capture the personality of individual vineyards, Leroux produces wines that combine Burgundian elegance with precision, energy, and an extraordinary sense of place.
Based in Beaune, Benjamin Leroux established his own négociant-domaine in 2007 after nearly a decade as the winemaker and estate manager at Domaine du Comte Armand in Pommard. Today, he works with exceptional vineyard sites throughout the Côte d’Or, sourcing fruit through long-term partnerships while also farming several parcels himself. His meticulous approach in the vineyard, thoughtful use of whole clusters, restrained new oak, and minimal intervention in the cellar allow terroir to remain at the center of every wine.
What makes Leroux especially fascinating is the breadth of Burgundy he is able to explore. His portfolio stretches across numerous villages and classifications, offering a rare opportunity to experience how differences in soil, exposition, elevation, and vineyard site translate into the glass. His whites are celebrated for their tension, minerality, and purity, while his reds balance aromatic complexity and silky texture with impressive structure and freshness.
Widely regarded as one of the leading voices of his generation in Burgundy, Leroux has built a reputation for producing wines that can stand alongside those of many of the region’s most prestigious domaines. Small production and tremendous demand have made his top bottlings increasingly sought-after by Burgundy collectors around the world.
