Vintage Champagne Bucket #12 - Morlant
This beautiful vintage French champagne bucket is a functional item, as well as a piece of history and craftsmanship. This faceted champagne bucket was originally made for Champagne Morlant. It is believed to have been made by Tête & Leroy, the famous French manufacturer in the art déco style, circa 1930’s/1940's. The body features a raised plaque with the Champagne Morlant logo on one side, with their location below. When originally made, champagne buckets like this one were made for restaurants & hotels as promotional items to use whenever their marque was served to guests.
This one of a kind piece is vintage, so aging is to be expected, due to the passage of time and overall use. There are some rayures and tarnishing on the body and base. The interior is quite tarnished, with rust in some areas. Overall, this piece is in good condition.
