Vintage Champagne Bucket #5 - Abel Lepitre

This beautiful vintage French champagne bucket is a functional item, as well as a piece of history and craftsmanship. This chromed bucket was originally made for Champagne Abel Lepitre by artist Argit Paris in the art déco style, circa 1930’s/1940's. Argit is a renowned artist and craftsman of fine tableware. The body of this piece features a raised front plaque crafted in enamel in a bottle green color, with the producer's name on it. The handles are a later art deco style formed of grape vines with a smoothed curve. The piece is made of aluminum and pewter. 

The piece is vintage, so aging is expected, due to the passage of time and overall use. There are some subtle rayures and light tarnishing on the base and bottom. Overall, this piece is in excellent condition.
