Comando G is the project of Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi and Fernando García, two winemakers who set out to redefine Garnacha by focusing on altitude, old vines, and terroir in the rugged Sierra de Gredos mountains. Working with organically farmed, often 50–80+ year-old bush vines rooted in granite soils, they craft wines with remarkable purity and finesse. Their philosophy is simple but powerful: let the land speak. Through minimal intervention in the cellar and a deep respect for these wild, high-elevation sites, they’ve shown that Garnacha can be lifted, elegant, and incredibly expressive of place.
