Christian’s journey into the world of wine began in the kitchen of his childhood home in Puerto Rico, where his father worked as a professional chef. Inspired by that environment, he started his own hospitality career behind the line in restaurants and developed a deep respect for craftsmanship, flavor, and the role of food in bringing people together.
In 2012, Christian moved to Atlanta and joined one of the city’s leading hospitality groups. Over the next eight years, he played an instrumental role in opening several restaurant concepts across the metro area. As he transitioned from the kitchen to the front of house, his passion for guest experience flourished. During that time, wine became a central interest because it brought together storytelling, culture, and service in a single pour.
At PERRINE's WINE Westside, Christian brings years of hospitality experience and a growing expertise in wine. He focuses on organic, biodynamic, and minimal-intervention selections, especially from New World producers. His philosophy is rooted in building a world where more people, particularly younger generations, enjoy wines made with integrity and a deep connection to the land. He is dedicated to helping guests explore these wines in a welcoming and approachable way.
Christian is currently pursuing formal wine certifications as part of his professional growth. His long-term goal is to become a wine importer or distributor with a focus on championing responsible winemakers and making thoughtfully produced wines more widely accessible.
