Kate began working in restaurants at 16, quickly discovering a love for hospitality. A few years later, a staff wine training sparked her interest in the beverage industry, leading her into beverage program management. Over the next few years, she managed multiple beverage programs in private clubs and restaurants while deepening her wine and spirits knowledge.

After earning her Certified Sommelier certification in 2022, Kate sought a role focused solely on wine and joined PERRINE’s as manager of the Sandy Springs shop. In early 2024, she won the Regional Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Young Sommeliers Competition, crediting her growth and success to her time at PERRINE’s.
