2019 Corte Volponi Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico, Veneto, Italy
Warm and sweet spices reminiscent of mulled wine are the first impressions given by this Amarone. The wine's palate has dried fig and prune notes, with coffee and dark chocolate on the finish. Fine tannins lead to a smooth and lingering end to this pretty wine.
