2019 Domaine Ganevat "Cuvee Marguerite", Cotes du Jura, Jura, France - 1.5L
harmonious blend of ripe citrus, white peach, and hints of almond and honeycomb. The palate is rich yet poised, with a rounded texture balanced by vibrant acidity. Flavors of baked apple, fresh herbs, and a touch of spice mingle with a slight oxidative note, typical of the Jura’s unique winemaking style. The wine finishes long and mineral-driven, with a refreshing salinity that invites another sip. A truly exceptional wine that evolves beautifully in the glass.

ABOUT THIS WINE
The "Cuvée Marguerite" is a cuvée made from a selection of old vines, predominantly Chardonnay, with a small portion of Savagnin, sourced from the family’s best parcels in the Jura. After hand-harvesting, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing, followed by fermentation with native yeasts in old oak barrels. The wine is aged for 18 months on its lees, with a small percentage of the wine undergoing a slight oxidative process to enhance complexity. Bottled in a 1.5L Magnum, this wine has tremendous aging potential, allowing the layers of flavor and character to unfold over time.
