2021 Chemistry "Alliance" Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA

A vibrant and expressive Pinot Noir that beautifully showcases the elegance of Willamette Valley fruit. Juicy red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry dominate the nose, accented by subtle floral notes of rose petals and a touch of baking spice. The palate is silky and balanced, with soft tannins and bright acidity that lend freshness and length. Hints of forest floor and a delicate minerality add complexity, leading to a refined, lingering finish with a whisper of vanilla and spice.

ABOUT THE WINE

Crafted from select vineyards across the Willamette Valley, the 2021 Chemistry "Alliance" Pinot Noir captures the signature characteristics of the region. The wine's lively red fruit profile is complemented by earthy undertones, a hallmark of the region's volcanic and marine sedimentary soils. Fermentation took place in stainless steel with gentle extraction to preserve purity and finesse, followed by aging in neutral French oak barrels for 8 months to enhance texture without overpowering the delicate fruit. The result is a Pinot Noir that is both approachable and layered, ideal for enjoying now but with enough structure to age gracefully for a few years.
