ABOUT THIS WINE
Sourced from the esteemed “Aux Combottes” vineyard, this Premier Cru wine benefits from vines aged between 15 to 80 years, situated at elevations of 250 to 350 meters with east to southeast exposures. The brown limestone soils, interspersed with stones, contribute to the wine's distinctive minerality. The 2021 vintage underwent 15 months of maturation in French oak barrels, with 65% to 75% being new oak, enhancing its complexity without overpowering the fruit. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of red fruit, floral nuances, and spice, supported by long, expressive tannins. This wine pairs beautifully with dishes such as duck, veal, or mushroom-based cuisine.
