ABOUT THE WINE
Sourced from the Arborina cru in La Morra, one of the Barolo region’s most prized sites for elegant, aromatic Nebbiolo, this single-vineyard wine is crafted from organically farmed vines averaging 30–50 years of age. The site’s sandy, calcareous soils and high elevation contribute to the wine’s hallmark precision and lift.
Fermentation is done in open-top French oak using native yeasts, with a short maceration to preserve finesse. The wine is then aged in used barriques for 24 months. Aromatically complex, Arborina shows notes of tart cherry, raspberry, crushed herbs, tobacco leaf, and rosebud, with a mineral streak and refined tannins that carry through a long, graceful finish.
