2023 Domaine des Lampyres "Point Triple" Blanc, Roussillon, France
A striking and energetic blend that captures the raw vitality of Roussillon's rugged terroir. "Point Triple" unfolds with bright citrus peel, fennel fronds, and green almond on the nose, followed by a stony, saline palate marked by orchard fruit, chamomile, and a gently bitter citrus pith finish. Light-bodied yet textural, its crisp acidity and mineral drive bring clarity and tension to every sip.

ABOUT THIS WINE
The 2023 "Point Triple" Blanc is a deftly assembled blend of Macabeu and Muscat d’Alexandrie, sourced from organically and biodynamically farmed old vines rooted in clay-limestone soils near Espira-de-l’Agly in the northern Roussillon. The wine is fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, then left to rest on its lees without additions, preserving the purity of its aromatics and the region’s signature freshness. Muscat lends aromatic lift—white flowers and crushed herbs—while Macabeu anchors the wine with textural grace and mineral backbone. No sulfites are added, and the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. A natural companion to Mediterranean fare like grilled octopus, anchovy-laced dishes, or fennel and citrus salads.
