ABOUT THE WINE
“Eco di Mare” (literally, “Echo of the Sea”) is a pure Vermentino grown in the sandy, mineral-laced soils of the Alta Maremma, just a few kilometers from the Tyrrhenian coast. The maritime influence is unmistakable in this wine’s freshness and salty lift. In 2022, a mild spring followed by a warm, dry summer produced grapes of excellent ripeness and aromatic clarity. After gentle pressing, fermentation took place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel to preserve the grape’s natural vibrancy, followed by short aging on fine lees for added texture. The result is a Vermentino that’s both zesty and layered, with notes of lime, white peach, and wild fennel over a sea-breeze salinity. Ideal with grilled prawns, seafood pasta, or marinated vegetables, and best enjoyed within 2–4 years of release.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Tenuta Argentiera is one of Bolgheri’s most dynamic estates, perched at one of the highest elevations in the DOC and overlooking the Mediterranean. Known primarily for its powerful reds, Argentiera also crafts white wines that express the region’s coastal finesse. With a focus on sustainability and site expression, the estate employs thoughtful vineyard practices—minimal irrigation, hand-harvesting, and low intervention in the cellar—to create wines that reflect the light, wind, and soil of the Maremma. “Eco di Mare” is a testament to this philosophy: an elegant white wine that echoes the sea, the sun, and the purity of place.
