2024 Az. Agr. Fratelli Cigliuti Langhe Nebbiolo, Piedmont, Italy

Bright, focused, and classically styled, the 2024 Langhe Nebbiolo from Fratelli Cigliuti delivers an elegant snapshot of Barbaresco terroir through the lens of youthful Nebbiolo. Aromas of sour cherry, rose petal, orange peel, and crushed herbs lead into a lithe, medium-bodied palate with firm tannins, fresh acidity, and a clean, mineral-tinged finish. It’s a graceful and authentic expression with the structure and soul of a baby Barbaresco.

ABOUT THIS WINE

This Langhe Nebbiolo is sourced from younger vines within the Cigliuti family’s estate vineyards in the famed Serraboella cru of Neive—an area known for producing structured, aromatic Nebbiolo. The 2024 vintage saw a long, balanced growing season, bringing purity of fruit and bright natural acidity.

Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, followed by aging in large Slavonian oak casks for several months. The result is a wine that blends floral elegance and earthy nuance with youthful precision.
