ABOUT THE WINE
Crafted from Nebbiolo grown in the Langhe hills surrounding Neive, this wine captures the grape’s hallmark aromatics and structure in a more immediately accessible style than its Barbaresco counterparts. The calcareous-clay soils of the region impart both aromatic lift and a distinct mineral backbone, while the 2024 vintage highlights purity of fruit and vibrant energy.
Fermentation typically takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve varietal expression, followed by aging in large oak casks and/or neutral barrels to soften tannins while maintaining transparency to terroir. The result is a wine that showcases classic notes of red cherry, cranberry, dried rose, orange peel, and a hint of tar and spice—hallmarks of Nebbiolo’s identity.
This Langhe Nebbiolo pairs effortlessly with mushroom risotto, roasted poultry, vitello tonnato, or pasta with truffle. Its bright acidity and structured tannins also make it a natural partner for braised meats and aged cheeses.
