ABOUT THIS WINE

The 2024 Bardolino is crafted from Corvina and Rondinella grapes, which are vinified separately. The vineyards, situated at 190 meters above sea level with a south-facing orientation, are approximately 15 years old and are cultivated using the Guyot training system. The estate employs certified organic viticulture practices, focusing on sustainability and minimal intervention.

The winemaking process involves a 7–8 day maceration period, coinciding with fermentation. Daily cap management includes délestage in the morning and pumpover in the evening. After fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged in stainless steel tanks until spring.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCER

Located in Cavaion Veronese, between Lake Garda and Monte Baldo, the estate is helmed by Matilde Poggi, who founded the winery in 1984 and has since become a prominent figure in Italy’s independent winemaking community. Le Fraghe is celebrated for producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of Bardolino, characterized by minerality, freshness, and elegance.
