ABOUT THIS WINE

The 2024 Vietti Moscato d'Asti is a delightful sparkling wine from the heart of Piedmont, Italy. Crafted from 100% Moscato Bianco grapes, this wine captures the vibrant and aromatic qualities of the varietal. Known for its light effervescence, low alcohol content, and natural sweetness, this Moscato d'Asti is perfect for celebrations, dessert pairings, or simply savoring on its own.

The grapes for this Moscato d'Asti are sourced from small vineyards in Castiglione Tinella, characterized by limestone and clay-rich soils. The vines are cultivated using the Guyot method, with an average age of 40 years. Winemaking begins with the delicate pressing of the grapes and natural cold decanting. The must is stored at a very low temperature in stainless-steel tanks to avoid spontaneous fermentation. Individual portions of the must are then added to an autoclave at a temperature of 12-14°C to initiate alcoholic fermentation. When the alcohol content reaches around 5.5%, fermentation is halted by rapidly reducing the temperature. The wine is then filtered and bottled, preserving its natural freshness and aromas.
