Casanu, an ewe Corsican cheese, is a mix between 2 ancestral Corsican know how - ewe cheese and chesnut beer. Produced from 100% Corsican ewe milk, the Casanu is washed daily with a mix of water and chestnut beer.

During its maturation, the cheese develops a subtle taste of chestnut (of course) and its rind becomes slightly orange. Casanu has received several awards during the last 5 years! Don't forget to marry the casanu with a nutty bread.
