Once a Gard’Vin On/Off stopper is inserted into the bottle, a compatible vacuum pump extracts the air through its integrated valve. The stopper then maintains the vacuum until the bottle is opened again.
What distinguishes these stoppers is L’Atelier du Vin’s On/Off visual indicator. During pumping, the colored indicator remains visible while air is still present; when the correct vacuum is reached, the indicator disappears, signaling that the bottle is properly protected. This simple mechanical feature removes the guesswork from manual wine preservation.
