Veneto is a prominent wine region in northeastern Italy, celebrated for its remarkable diversity of styles and grape varieties. Bordered by the Alps to the north and the Adriatic Sea to the southeast, its varied geography and climate create ideal conditions for producing both red and white wines of high quality. The region is home to some of Italy’s most iconic wines, including Amarone della Valpolicella, a rich and powerful red made from partially dried grapes like Corvina and Rondinella; Soave, a crisp and elegant white primarily from the Garganega grape; and Prosecco, the fresh, fruit-forward sparkling wine made from Glera grapes in the hills around Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. Veneto boasts an array of DOC and DOCG appellations, including Valpolicella, Soave, Bardolino, and Prosecco, which reflect the deep-rooted traditions and innovative spirit of the region’s winemakers. With a winemaking history that spans centuries and a dynamic presence in the modern wine world, Veneto continues to be a leading force in both domestic and international markets.
This seated tasting is limited to 16 people, will start promptly at 6:00pm at our Westside location, and lasts about 90 minutes.
We will be serving 6 wines + light charcuterie and cheese.
