Sicily - in common with much of the Old World - has a longstanding winemaking tradition, where a warm Mediterranean climate, coastal influences, and volcanic soils create distinctive and diverse styles. Long known for indigenous grape varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Frappato, Grillo, and Catarratto, the vineyards on the slopes of Mount Etna - which produce elegant examples from Nerello Mascalese and Carricante - are dynamic and increasingly sought-after.
This seated tasting is limited to 16 people, will start promptly at 6:00 pm at our Westside location, and lasts about 90 minutes.
