Explore Series: Volcanic Wines - September 18th - Westside
Volcanic wines are crafted from grapes grown in volcanic soils, which produce wines of distinctive minerality & depth. This is terroir with clarity - join us on September 18th as we take a deeper look.
Volcanic wines come from vineyards rooted in ancient lava flows, ash, and basalt-rich soils. These unique terrains impart a signature minerality and tension to the wines. The soils, often poor in nutrients but high in trace minerals, force vines to struggle, resulting in low yields and highly concentrated fruit. If wine is meant to demonstrate a sense of place, there is perhaps no other common feature that does so as forcefully. Join us as we take a comprehensive dive.
This seated tasting is limited to 16 people, will start promptly at 6:00 pm at our Westside location, and lasts about 90 minutes.
