We are very excited to welcome Alejandra Naranjo, Export Manager for Marqués de Murrieta. Please join us for an exclusive tasting of the gems in their portfolio. Marqués de Murrieta is a cornerstone of Rioja winemaking, founded in 1852 and widely regarded as one of Spain’s most historic and influential estates.
Located near Logroño in Rioja Alta, the winery is renowned for combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation to produce elegant, age-worthy wines. The estate’s flagship, Castillo Ygay, is a benchmark for classic Rioja, showcasing the depth, complexity, and longevity for which the region is famed. With a deep respect for the land and a focus on sustainable viticulture, Marqués de Murrieta offers wines that are a true reflection of their exceptional terroir and heritage.
Alejandra completed her wine training at the Sommelier Conseil at Cafa Formations Private School in Bordeaux, and is about the finish the Diploma Certificate from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). Her international spirit and expertise in the premium wine sector brought her to Marques de Murrieta, where she became the Export Area Americas Manager in 2022.
