There are a few domaines that stay with you—quietly, consistently, year after year. Domaine Moreau-Naudet has been one of mine for as long as I can remember.
I have supported these wines since 2012, and still, every year, I feel the same sense of anticipation when the allocation arrives. I am from Tonnerre, just 20 minutes from Chablis, and there is something deeply personal in these bottles. The light, the limestone, the precision—it all feels familiar, almost instinctive. Opening a bottle of Moreau-Naudet doesn’t just remind me of Chablis, it brings me back to a place, a rhythm, a way of life that shaped how I understand wine.
The 2023 vintage has arrived, from Petit Chablis to Grand Cru, and it is everything I hope for in this region—pure, energetic, and beautifully defined. These are wines that don’t try to impress loudly; they reveal themselves slowly, with clarity and quiet confidence.
